QURACK DE FALAISE*HDC pass away last night

Born in 2004 at our friend Jean Michel Lorin and bought by Armand at the age of 3 at the Pompadour Sales on September 14th 2007, Qurack de Falaise*HDC arrived at the Haras des Coudrettes at the very beginning of his history, at the very beginning of our history.
This great chestnut son of Jarnac was endowed with an incredible strength and a heart of angel. He discovered everything with us, we discovered everything with him. He made his first steps with Julie Gadal until 2012 before spending a year under the saddle of Franck Schillewaert. In 2014, we entrusted Qurack to Kevin Staut with whom he will travel the world for 4 years: Mechelen, Stuttgart, Barcelona, Vienna, Miami, Las Vegas, S’Hertogenbosh, Basel, Shanghai, Mannheim, Lyon, London, Bordeaux, Zurich, Doha, Oslo, Helsinki, Madrid, Knokke, without forgetting the mythical La Baule, Aix La Chapelle and Spruce Meadows-Calgary … an incredible road trip for this wonderful companion of life. He returns in 2018 to Les Coudrettes under the saddle of Delphine Perez that he accompanies on beautiful CSI.
It will be in Canteleu in September 2020 at the age of 16 years that we decide that Qurack deserves to draw his bow. He will stay at the stables for some time to allow him to acclimatize gradually to his new life and then join Rêveur, Aquila, Lacrimoso, and For Joy for a happy retirement in the paddocks of the Haras de La Forge.
Qurack left us today because of a colic that we unfortunately could not control this time. He is one of those horses who wrote the history of the Haras des Coudrettes by sharing 15 years of our life.
Qurack leaves all the HDC team this morning lost without his “ace of heart”. Thanks to all those who loved and pampered him throughout his life Sarah, Laurence, Marie but especially Claire, Julie, Florence and Léa who share our sorrow.
