For its first CCI5*-L, Absolut Gold*HDC didn’t do things by halves: Burghley.
For the uninitiated, there are only 5 competitions in the world stamped 5* in eventing, and Burghley is reputed to be the most difficult.
After a magnificent dressage test, scoring 73.890% (26.1 points), Nicolas and Absolut set off on this extraordinary cross-country course. They returned without any penalties at the obstacles and with a time of 8.8 points. They are still in the top 10. The last event remained: show jumping, which they flew over magnificently to close this magical weekend with a clear round in the time.
All in all, a very fine 7th place and, for us, some incredible memories.
Reynald and Hugmy*HDC won the Grand Prix for 7-year-olds at 1.40m at the Regional Championship of Saint Lô, which had 27 runners-up.
After a very fine clear round in the 7-year-old class at the CIR de Saint Lô, Reynald and Hugmy*HDC took 3rd place in the class.
A very good start to the competition for Tom, Sébastien and Ultrachic*HDC, who finished 2nd in the first round with an average score of 7.768.
