CSI5* Aachen

A magnificent clear round and a third-place finish for Kevin and Féline de Hus*HDC in today’s main 1.55m class, which served as a qualifier for the Grand Prix, on the superb course in Aachen!

Qondor HDC

May 13, 2026 – 2:45 a.m. Silvana*HDC and Carinjo 9*HDC are pleased to announce the birth of their grandson, Qondor HDC.

Hathéna des Lys HDC, our first daughter by Silvana*HDC born at home, has just given birth to her first foal, a son of Dollar du Rouet, the star stallion of our friends Pierre and Yannick Fardin.

After a successful career under Julien’s saddle, we decided to entrust Hathéna with the important task of taking over from her dam in the breeding program. It must be said that she carries within her the genes of two exceptional champions who have won on the world’s finest courses: Silvana and Carinjo 9*HDC. It’s hard to do better—and at the same time, what pressure! Her foals will be named after wild animals.

Qondor HDC evokes the majesty and power of this giant bird of prey capable of dominating the skies with quiet strength. A proud name for a foal destined to… soar very high.

Hathéna and her little Qondor are doing wonderfully and bring the 2026 foal season at Haras des Coudrettes to a close.

Quartz des Lys HDC

May 6, 2026 – 9:00 p.m. A new little prince at Haras des Coudrettes

Fleur des Lys HDC, the daughter of Platine du Rouet, has just given us a superb foal by Balou Star. Like all foals from this bloodline, he will bear a gemstone name. Thus, following Onyx Jr HDC and Peregrina des Lys HDC, we are delighted to welcome Quartz des Lys HDC to Haras des Coudrettes.

A symbol of purity, resilience, and energy, quartz is a mineral known for its ability to amplify energies and its unique crystalline structure.

Welcome to Quartz des Lys HDC

24 April 2026 – 11.00 pm – Qasper HDC

A new gem has just been born at Haras des Coudrettes

Our little star Ayade de Septon*HDC has given us a superb foal by Comme il faut.

A very smart and eagerly awaited foal. Like his brothers and sisters before him, he is named after a cartoon character. Following Jimini, Krickette, Lilipuce, Lolita, Ladybug, Miss Kitty, Maya, and Minimoy, it is now Qasper HDC who joins the family, in honour of Casper the Friendly Ghost.

Unlike other ghosts, Qasper takes no pleasure in scaring people. He is often sad because he cannot make friends, as everyone he meets is afraid and runs away at the sight of him. But he eventually manages to befriend two young children, proving that kindness always triumphs in the end.

Qasper HDC and Bakke HDC, his wonderful surrogate dam, are doing wonderfully well, and we can’t wait to follow the progress of this little ghost with an elite pedigree.

Well done to the whole team on this new arrival and welcome to Qasper HDC!

22 April 2026 – 10.40 pm Qamelia Express HDC

Yesterday really was a perfect day. Our mares must have agreed to foal at convenient times. After Qassiopée Star HDC at 8.00 am, it was Qamélia Express HDC who made her appearance at 10.40 pm. Thank you, girls, for letting the team get a good night’s sleep.

Daughter of Justmy Express*HDC and Fleurbelle N*HDC, she honours her dam with her name. The camellia, a symbol of love and enduring beauty, suits her perfectly.

Welcome to Qamelia Express HDC, our new champion flower

CSI5* – The Spring of Equestrian Sports

A fine start to the competition season for Kevin and Féline de Hus*HDC, who took third place in the Prix Communauté d’Agglomération du Pays de Fontainebleau, which attracted nearly 70 entrants

22 April 2026 – 07:56: Qassiopée Star HDC

A new star has joined the constellation of Stars at Haras des Coudrettes.

The daughter of Quick Capitola Domaine Z (Quick Star) and Conthargos, this magnificent filly continues the tradition of the ‘Stars’ line within our stud.

Following in the footsteps of Heaven Star, Izar Star, Lyra Star HDC, Naos Star HDC, Omega Star HDC and, of course, her own brother Phoenix Star HDC, this newcomer continues an exceptional lineage. Her name: Qassiopée Star HDC.

In Greek mythology, Cassiopeia is the wife of Cepheus, King of Ethiopia, and is particularly known from the legend of Perseus. Cassiopeia is associated with pride and beauty, as she boasted that her daughter Andromeda surpassed even the splendour of the Nereids.

Thank you to Quick Capitola for this new treasure, to Babel, her lovely surrogate dam, and welcome to Qassiopée Star HDC, our new star in the Star constellation.

2026 april 2nd – Qlarisse Express HDC

The foalings continue at Haras des Coudrettes! This year, Horéade des Lys HDC has given us a magnificent filly, carrying on a most prestigious sporting legacy.

As the daughter of Vagabond de la Pomme and granddaughter of the exceptional Ayade de Septon*HDC, Horéade carries on the tradition by passing on her talent and energy to her offspring. Following O’Neal HDC and Parker HDC, a future champion has now joined the stable.

Her name? Qlarisse Express HDC, in tribute to Clarisse, an exceptional French judoka and a true legend of the tatami. Like her illustrious namesake, we hope she will shine through her technique, her fighting spirit, and her steely resolve. A two-time Olympic champion, six-time world champion, and multiple medalist, Clarisse embodies resilience and excellence, having won every major title in her discipline, including another Olympic medal in front of her home crowd at Paris 2024.

Her sire, Icare Express HDC, has long since proven himself. A son of our two great champions, Orient Express HDC and Silvana*HDC, he embodies the perfect blend of elite bloodlines and modern performance. From this exceptional pedigree comes a filly destined for a bright future.

Horéade and Qlarisse are doing wonderfully, and we look forward to following this filly’s development as she follows in the footsteps of the greatest. Congratulations to the entire team on this new arrival, and welcome to Qlarisse Express HDC!

2026 march 20th – Quokka Express HDC

After a few days’ delay, Vriska de Blondel*HDC gave birth to her magnificent son by Justmy Express HDC.

He is Vriska’s second son born at the stud farm, following Mika Express HDC (Orient Express HDC), who was recently approved as a Selle Français stallion and is owned by Reynald Angot. She is also the dam of, among others, Dirka de Blondel (CSI5*), Laïka Miss HDC, Noushka Express HDC, Oliska Express HDC, Petruchka Express HDC, and Panenka Express HDC…

This magnificent foal will be named Quokka Express HDC.

The quokka is a protected species of small, sociable marsupials native to Australia. It is said to be “the happiest animal in the world.”
