Son of QUICK STAR who, from his height of 1.59m, achieved a brilliant sporting career. Under the saddle of Nick Skelton first, then Meredith Michaels Beerbaum, the little horse accumulated more than €500,000 in earnings. Among his most beautiful victories let us recall that of Maastricht in 1992 and Mannheim in 1993. In his second career as a stallion, the son of GALOUBET A was approved in more than 20 different studbooks and boasts many world-famous offspring to date, including BIG STAR, Olympic Team Champion in London in 2012 and individually in Rio in 2016 with Nick Skelton; SPREHE STELLA, European Team Champion at Hickstead in 1999 with Meredith Michaels Beerbaum; QUICK STUDY, ridden by Lauren Hough and ranked 25^th global performer in 2011, etc.

KAMTCHATKA, dam of ORIENT EXPRESS*HDC, is a daughter of LE TOT DE SEMILLY (ISO 177), the sire of many CSI5* winners headed by World champion DIAMANT DE SEMILLY and the great ITOT DU CHATEAU (ISO 197), winner at CSIO level with Edwina Tops Alexander.

His 2^nd dam, LORIPIERRE (ISO 175) was an international winner and French champion with Gilles Bertran de Balanda. She has also produced DOLLAR DELA PIERRE, a private stallion and CSIO winner with Reynald Angot, World Champion in team in 2002.

ORIENT EXPRESS*HDC has had an impeccable sporting career with almost a million euros in earnings. He was the 6YO Champion in France, PRO 1 French Champion and a brilliant CSI-W / CSIO winner under Patrice Delaveau, including in the Nations Cup final in Barcelona, winner of many CSI5* Grand Prix and World Vice-Champion in team as well as individually in 2014.

Carinjo 9*HDC

A partner of Patrice Delaveau, Carinjo 9*HDC is a chic, modern stallion with remarkable blood and jumping technique.

His progeny include numerous international winners, and he was the best sire of CSI horses with 88.9% Black-type offspring in 2020. Homozygous for the bay gene, he passes on his looks, his blood and his respect.

Carinjo 9*HDC is a beautiful and refined stallion. He shows a lot of power and a remarkable technique over the fences. He has an excellent canter. He has all the qualities sought after in a modern sport horse.

His rider, Patrice Delaveau, said in an interview to Grand Prix Magazine that Carinjo was very respectful and fast, exhibiting lots of blood. He was very competitive in the ring. He was very agile and balanced and had a very good mouth. At home, he didn’t need to repeat the gymnastics or jump a lot; he was a smart horse.

Before his retirement, Carinjo 9*HDC was on the French Equestrian Federation long list for the Olympic Games and WEG. He earned more than EUR1m (about $1.2 million) during his career.

Winner of the Holsteiner Verband 2YO stallion test in Neumünster in 2003, Carinjo was a good winner in CSI with Thomas Voss before being acquired by the Haras des Coudrettes for Patrice Delaveau. In 2010, he was 2nd of Grand Prix “Sires of the World” in Lanaken.

Carinjo 9*HDC has already produced approved stallions such as Carin, Carpino, Cariletto, Chitaro, Coral Beach and Criffindor.

His son, Fibonacci de Lessac*HDC, is the 2018 3YO Selle Français Stallion champion and World Vice-Champion of the 6 years old in Eventing at the Mondial du Lion in 2021. .

His sire, Cascavelle (Cantus (Caletto I x Cor de la Bryere) x Phaedra (Calando I x Cor de la Bryere) has produced many top stallions like Cascano, Cantano, Eurocommerce New Jersey, Casco. His sire’s first dam, Phaedra (Holst) is the sister of Cagliostro very good winner in CSI. His sire’s second dam, Fangelika (Holst) also produced: Kerrin, dam of Perra who produced A-Cover Girl (CSI), Candyman 17 (CSI), Carthago, great CSIO winner with Jos Lansink and father of many International winners .

His first dam, Exquisite (Holst, Landgraf x Ramiro Z) belongs to the stamm 703 which has produced numerous international winners like Callisto, Zafira, Something Special, Una Caretina, Holsatia 6, Eurocommerce Monaco, Quincy B…. Exquisite has also produced Perfectlady I, dam of the stallion Conner.
