Victory for Féline de Hus*HDC

After a fantastic jump-off, Féline de Hus*HDC and Reynald won the Grand Prix Pro 1 at 1.45m.
It was the first Grand Prix 145 for our young crack and she won! Féline is incredible, she’s just magical … like her grandmother
Well done Reynald, well done Féline, well done Julie, well done to the whole team!

Equi-Normandie – Canteleu

A very fine 5th place for Reynald and Féline de Hus*HDC in this afternoon’s Grand Prix Pro1 with almost 70 starters.

2 April 2024 – 9:50pm – Ophélie Miss HDC

This evening, Corlana S presented us with a superb filly by Be Express HDC (by Orient Express HDC), our first approved SF stallion born at the Haras des Coudrettes, whom we keep in our hearts thanks to the wonderful foals he has given us. The foaling was complicated, but the filly and her mother are doing well now. Miléna and Emilie were there. Their talent, professionalism and kindness made this foaling a fairytale. Thank you both, you are wonderful.
Corlana’s foals are named after characters, heroes and heroines from literature or the cinema.
After Korléone Express HDC, Milady Express HDC and Nikita HDC, now it’s Ophelia! Betrothed to Hamlet in Shakespeare’s tragedy, Ophelia was wonderfully portrayed on screen by the magnificent Jean Simmons in 1948.
Welcome to Ophélie Miss HDC.

CSI3* POLO CLUB SAINT-TROPEZ GASSIN

Bosty and Delph de Denat*HDC took 3rd place in the 1.55m Grand Prix at the CSI3* in Gassin, which had been brought forward to Saturday because of the weather. After a magnificent clear round in the first round, they did it again with a fantastic time in the jump-off.
Superb performance, well done!

21 March 2024 – 9.40pm – Omega Star HDC

This evening, a new star was born at the Haras des Coudrettes. Quick Capitola Domaine Z (by Quick Star), the pupil of Chrystal PERRON-PETTE with whom she competed on the French junior team circuit, has just given us a superb filly by Casall.
After Heaven Star HDC, currently ridden by Ana Samaia Amaral in Spain, and Izar Star HDC, an approved Selle Français stallion ridden by Reynald Angot, it is now the turn of this marvel to have an astral name.
She will be called Omega Star HDC in reference to Omega of the Centaur, the most beautiful and impressive swarm of stars in the Milky Way, containing several million stars around 12 billion years old, located 18,000 light years from our planet.
Thank you to Eau, her kind Surrogate mother, and welcome to Omega Star HDC.

18 March 2024 – 8.00 pm – Orizon Express HDC

Tonight, the beautiful Zigi gave us the first son of Icare Express HDC.
Zigi is the daughter of Zirocco Blue but above all the granddaughter of Holivea van Costersveld who is none other than the Dam of Bosty’s champion Vivaldo van Het Costersveld and the granddam of Marco Kutscher’s crack Cornet Obolensky.
Crossed with Icare Express HDC, who is none other than the son of Orient Express*HDC and Silvana*HDC, this superb colt carries the weight of exceptional genetics on his young shoulders.
As the horizon has no limit other than that which separates heaven from earth, we welcome Orizon Express HDC.

16 March 2024 – 9.00 pm – O’Neal HDC

The pace of births is accelerating at the Haras des Coudrettes. After Onyx Jr HDC a few hours ago, it’s the turn of Horéade des Lys HDC, the granddaughter of Ayade de Septon*HDC and daughter of Vagabond de la Pomme, to give us her first foal… And what a foal!
This sublime son of Carinjo 9 HDC is called O’Neal HDC in tribute to American basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, Olympic Champion, World Champion and 4-time NBA Champion…
What a destiny

15 March 2024 – 9:30 pm – Onyx Jr HDC

When our babies make babies… There’s a magical turning point in a breeder’s life, when his first fillies take over from their dams and even their grandmothers. This is the case with Fleur des Lys, the daughter of Platine du Rouet, one of our first mares to arrive at the very beginnings of the Haras des Coudrettes, born to our friend Yannick Fardin by a cross with Carinjo 9*HDC. Fleur has just given birth to a magnificent foal by Be Express HDC, our first home-bred Orient Express male. So we’ve come full circle.
To continue the tradition of Platine foals, this magnificent foal will be named after a stone, a variety of agate belonging to the quartz family.
Welcome to Onyx Jr HDC!

Grand National 2024

Reynald Angot, Jean Le Monze and Rose de Balanda make up a fine team that the Haras des Coudrettes is delighted to sign up for the new season.
